A concept design for a Goth Edition of Playboy, combining gothic, grunge, and alternative aesthetics. The project primarily features magazine covers, supported by research into new target audiences. It explores alternative beauty standards and subcultural identities within a familiar editorial format. Covers are crafted to convey personality, narrative, and dark sensuality through composition, lighting, and styling. The series experiments with fashion, eroticism, and gothic storytelling in a commercial magazine context. Each cover functions as both a standalone artwork and part of a cohesive series. The goal is to challenge conventional notions of glamour and erotic representation while appealing to a wider audience. The project emphasizes editorial design as a tool for storytelling and subcultural exploration.
