This campaign elevates the plain silver lighter into a timeless design object, using a nostalgic and vintage visual language to communicate the brand’s core values. Core values are quality, craftsmanship, timeless style, adventure and reliability. Through iteration and refinement, the campaign needed to present Zippo as an icon of these values, with images and taglines that feel classic and built to last.

The process involved researching lifestyle and editorial product photography, defining a precise vintage direction, and testing surface qualities, composition and prop placement through sketches and test renders. Through iterative selection, contrast control and tonal adjustment, the final direction crystallised into a cohesive set of static visuals that position Zippo as an iconic brand with lasting cultural weight.
